CCRM Australia and Bioplatforms Australia Join Forces to Advance Regenerative Medicine

CCRM Australia, a leading organisation in regenerative medicine, and Bioplatforms Australia have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to embark on a collaborative journey that will bolster research and innovation in regenerative medicine across Australia.

Under the MOU, both organisations have inaugurated a jointly funded shared position dedicated to advancing the growth and development of CCRM Australia and the StemCore facility in Brisbane. This shared role will oversee activities that align with the objectives of all three organisations, including but not limited to research, development, and innovation in regenerative medicine.

CCRM Australia and BPA will actively explore additional collaboration avenues that may encompass joint research endeavours, knowledge exchange, and the development of further collaborative projects, ultimately driving innovation and excellence in regenerative medicine.

Silvio Tiziani, CEO of CCRM Australia, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This collaboration with Bioplatforms Australia is another significant milestone for CCRM Australia. It reflects our shared commitment to advancing the sector and the mutual recognition that supporting and building the Australian regenerative medicine and advanced therapies ecosystem benefits all."

Andrew Gilbert, Chief Executive of Bioplatforms Australia, echoed these sentiments: "We are excited to partner with CCRM Australia. The national and international approach and connections that CCRM Australia brings as a member of an active CCRM Global Network is something that we feel contribute to us building a national commercialisation and impact through ecosystem development.”
