Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine Australia (CCRM Australia) is proud to partner with St Vincent’s Health Service to form CCRM Australia Attract. CCRM Australia’s business unit will facilitate and provide specialised business, regulatory and IP services along with commercialisation and technology expertise to the Australian regenerative medicine sector.
CCRM Australia has been established to bridge the well-recognised ‘commercialisation gap’ by addressing significant development and commercialisation bottlenecks in the sector.
CCRM Australia are doing this by working with Australian stakeholders to better coordinate existing facilities, research and technologies and by introducing profound commercialisation expertise.
CCRM Australia’s Attract Unit is analogous to and will work integrally with the Attract Unit of the original CCRM in Canada.
St Vincent’s Group Director of Research Dr Megan Robertson commented, “As a Founding Member of CCRM Australia, we have seen the potential of CCRM Australia’s role in addressing recognised impediments in translating and commercialising regenerative medicine therapies. With our experience and capabilities at St Vincent’s Health Service, I feel we are in the best position to achieve more together by providing a crucial clinical element to CCRM Australia.”
CCRM Australia’s CEO Silvio Tiziani noted, “CCRM Australia is thrilled to be working with Dr Megan Robertson and her team at St Vincent’s Health Service to accelerate the growth of Australia’s regenerative medicine industry. St Vincent’s Health Service is one of Australia’s premier healthcare providers, a leader in medical innovation and an invaluable partner in translation and adoption of cutting-edge medical treatments. This partnership will no doubt be a significant step forward for CCRM Australia.”
